Valerie is an outgoing individual, who is excited to grow her career as a public health professional. She joined Population services International (PSI) as a program assistant for global projects A360 and Woman’s Health Project (WHP) about a year ago. Additionally supporting internal teams like Quality of Care (QoC) and the Sexual and Reproductive department at PSI in facilitation and logistics of organizational events. Before working for PSI, she was a Peace Corp Volunteer in Sierra Leone as a health educator.

Valerie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Old Dominion University. She also develops her leadership and professional skills outside her full-time position by attending conferences and webinars.

Valerie is an active dancer and choreographer in the Virginia area and enjoys taking dance workshops. She also enjoys checking out new food locations and visiting the beach every summer.
