Alexis has over a decade of experience working in international development and public health in the US, Africa, and South America. She joined PSI in 2016 as an Associate Program Manager on the West and Central Africa Team.

Before joining PSI, Alexis served as a health volunteer in the Peace Corps in Ghana, worked in refugee resettlement, with United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF), and in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)/clean cookstove sectors. In college, she volunteered with Planned Parenthood, and she has always had a passion for reproductive rights and health.

Alexis has a bachelor’s degree in political science and Women’s Studies and a master’s degree in international development with a focus on Public Health.

In her free time, Alexis enjoys being outdoors – running, camping, hiking, etc. She also loves to read and spend time with her son.
