Peris holds an extensive background in adolescent and youth health programs. Before joining A360 as a County Coordinator, she served as a Program Officer for the Weekly Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFS) Project, focusing on adolescent girls in Kenya. Peris played a pivotal role in the development of the first-ever adolescent nutrition training curriculum in Kenya, contributing significantly to the project’s success.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a teaching associate with AMREF, coordinating the development of community health improvement projects across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. Additionally, Peris has served as a Social Behavior Change Coordinator for Malaria, Reproductive Health, and Nutrition projects in various counties. Currently serving as the A360 Kenya gender champion, she passionately advocates for gender equity and women’s empowerment. Peris provides strategic advice and technical support to seamlessly integrate gender considerations throughout all phases of the A360 program.

In her capacity as the A360 County Coordinator, Peris successfully advocated for the appointment of an Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health (AYSRH) County focal person in Narok County, a role that was previously overlooked. She also coordinates the strategic partnership between Narok County and PS Kenya. Peris holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology and Disease Control.
