Mary Phillips has more than 10 years of public health experience, with a specific focus on adolescent sexual and reproductive health rights in Africa. She is skilled in human centered design and passionate about creating solutions in partnership with young people. She joined PSI in 2016 but took some time off in 2022 to study French. She’s very happy to back with Adolescents 360 full time as Technical Advisor supporting the maternal health portfolio and sharing the lessons from our work more widely.
Before joining PSI Mary worked at Evidence Action. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and was the recipient of a Thomas J. Watson Fellow Fellowship, which allowed her to independently study safe spaces for adolescent girls in LMICs. Outside of work, Mary loves ambitious kitchen projects, exploring upstate New York, and spending time with her family.
