120 under 40 Youth-Powered Leaders: Can We Get Your Vote?

Wondering how you can support the next generation of young leaders at PSI? Vote for our A360 nominees on this year’s 120 Under 40 list!

Through 120 Under 40, the Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Healthhas recognized and highlighted the achievements of young family planning leaders worldwide by selecting groups of 40 young leaders in 2016 and 2017, including PSIers Christopher Meraiyebu and Olukoya Yetunde. The 2019 winners will include another 40 young leaders to create a coalition of 120 family planning warriors by 2020, the year by which the FP2020 partnership aims to enable 120 million women and girls to access contraception.

In 2016, PSI committed to reaching 10 million more youth with modern contraception as part of the FP2020 partnership. By the end of 2018, we had met and surpassed that goal. We’ve reached 14 million new users of modern contraception under the age of 25—and we’re still counting!

Our 2019 120 Under 40 nominees are some of the young leaders that helped us meet our goal. Read about them below and vote to show your support for their work reaching youth with the contraception they deserve to achieve their dreams.
